Star Fox GX Chapter 1

Chapter one
Graduation

Mystic looked out of the Great Nexus, to space. She thought of her brother, his cry's out to her as her team fought the queen of the Delions. Tears rolled down her face as the memory crushed her heart. A small hand tugged her's she looked down to see her daughter Galaxy looking up at her with her violet eyes. Galaxy looked so much like her father Sora, a black wolf, she had Mystic's hair, and eyes.

"Mommy?" She asked.

Mystic picked up her little one and looked at her. Galaxy whipped her cheek for a little thing she knew that her mommy was sad.

"Think of...uncle Wolf?" Galaxy asked.

Mystic nodded and looked off to space again.

"But he's looking for me Laxy." Mystic told her.

"Why?" Galaxy asked.

"An O'Donnell never gives up." Mystic said.

"An O'Donnell?" Galaxy asked.

Mystic smiled at her daughter patting her head.

"Maybe one day you will meet them Gal, or maybe even the McClouds." Mystic smiled.

The memory disappeared as Galaxy, felt herself being moved back and forth.

"hey Galaxy, wake up, it's almost 9 o'clock. Time for breakfast" said a mysterious voice.

"Ten more minuets."

Then there was a blow horn sound, making her jump and fall out of bed. With a growl she looked up at a blue fox.

"that wasn't me, that was my dad doing it on the speakers." The blue fox said.

"Yeah whatever, Leon." She growled.

Leon Mccloud was Fox's Second Son. While Galaxy was Mystic O'Donnell's first child. She didn't know much of her uncle or the great war that her mother faught in but somehow she ended up with Leon and his family.

"come on, Mom made French Toast for breakfast" Leon said, Licking his lips at the thought.

"Whatever blue boy." She grumbled as she stood up.

She knew how much he hated that name, but she knew that he knew she was joking. She saw him as a brother after all her mother went missing when she was 6 only to be found by the McClouds a few weeks later.

the duo arrived at the living room, where Leon's mother, Krystal, was just placing breakfast on the table.

"Good morning kids." Krystal smiled.

"Morning." Galaxy said with a tired voice.

the Leon's dad, Fox, spoke, "Sorry about the airhorn, but i had to get you up, after all, you two graduate today."

Galaxy's ears shot up, she complitly forgot about that. No wonder she was so tired she was more excited that she and Leon were graduating. She soon would be on her own, she might even find the truth on what happened to her birth mother.

Leon then said, "isn't it Exciting, Galaxy, you and I were at the top of the class."

"It's hard to believe after all I slept through some classes." Galaxy said with Sarcastic tone.

"that's why i was selected to give the class speech." Leon commented.

"That's good because I know I would have fallen asleep." Galaxy Joked.

Fox then said, "anyway, eat up and get ready, you have 2 hours till we leave"

Galaxy nodded and ate, though she only ate two she wasn't that hungry. She soon went to her room and changed into ther Cornerian Academy Uniform. The last time she would ever were that thing. She slipped on the Academy Class Ring.

Leon ated all four of his and went into his bedroom to get ready. He changed into his Cornerian Academy Uniform. he even put on his Academy Class Ring.

by the time they were ready, it was time to go. Fox and Krystal of taking them to graduation, in the Great Fox. Corneria was the planet where everything happened, from the Aparoid to the Delions to even the Lylat Wars. Corneria was the place to be if you wanted to be a hero, as Galaxy alway's joked.

Dozens of Cornerian citizens watched as the great fox flew overhead, to Leon and Galaxy, this was a great honor. Though Galaxy didn't like the attention after all no one really approved of her last name O'Donnell. If it wasn't for Leon standing up for her, she would've never graduated, and she was thankful, though she's yet to admit it. Though she almost did when Leon danced with her at the prom last year. After all he was the only one to ask her to dance with him.

Within hour, the ceremony began, and it was time for Leon's Class Speech, As Galaxy watched Leon approach the Podium.

"Here we go." Galaxy smiled.

Leon's Class Speech was filled with a lot of big words, but there was a phrase that really made Galaxy good about herself; "while some of us  and to the academies with stained inherited from our famillies, let us never forget, it's not about the family name, it would someone with that name does, if your father was a criminal, You can be a hero instead."

She almost wanted to cry because of that. Her only friend even now was defending her. She couldn't believe it. Everyone started to look at Galaxy with more open minds, they figured Leon was right and they should have given her a chance. After all just because of her name don't mean she wasn't a kind, gentle person who liked to joke around a lot.

Soon Leon's speech was over, and so began the diploma distribution. as expected, when Leon's Name was called, the whole crowd went wild. When Galaxy was called, it started with complete silence, But then Fox and Krystal stood up and began to clap. After all she was to them their daughter, but then, Galaxy started to notice An increase in the number of people getting applause, and the next thing she knew the whole crowd was giving her a standing ovation, you could guess it's their way of saying they were sorry. Tears rolled soflty down Galaxy's cheek as she walked back to her seat, where Leon was waiting to give her a reasuring squeeze on her shoulder.

soon the graduation's favorite line came, "Seniors, swing your tassels from right to left, congratulations you have now graduated from the Cornarian Academy!!"

Galaxy ripped off her cap and tossed it high in the air, she finaly graduated her and Leon, the best friend anyone even an O'Donnell could have.

Meanwhile in the darkest corner of the gym stood a hooded figure stood. His hood covered his face the only thing you saw was the glow of his emerald eyes. Much like Fox's.

"At long last...I have found you, Galaxy Rina O'Donnell."
